‘Dove‘ by Lykke Steenbach Josephsen; Painting 51.2H x 39.4W x 1.6in $5300
Feminine beauty. Color. A hint of the ethereal. Enjoy the portraits of Danish artist Lykke Steenbach Josephsen.
I was spending hours scrolling through artistic inspiration on Saatchi Art (per usual) and I came across the portraits done by artist Lykke Steenbach Josephsen; my heart stopped. The Danish creator has an amazing ability to capture emotion (look at the eyes in her portraits!) and nature (her use of animals is gorgeous & unexpected). She infuses everything with a magical & quite playful feeling (check out her uninhibited use of color).
My very favorite portrait is ‘Dove’ (pictured immediately above), but that doesn’t make any of her portraits any less appealing… which one is your favorite? If I had it my way, I would own them all.
