Though a day late, this is my Valentine’s Day post. I was unable to get around to it yesterday for the very best of reasons: I was wrapped up in each minute that I got to spend with my love … he has a way of creating space for the moment… he has a calm sort of magic to him… a master of the art of the slowdown, the savor, + the subtle shift that the best kind of love feels like.
I operate in the bold + the bright, the black + the white, the contrast + the commitment. He is a watercolor + a soft wash, all kinds of gorgeous gray, afternoon light + summer shade. I am the absolute + he is the in between… without the other, our spectrum would be incomplete + missing so much beauty. I am so grateful for this man… and for the way he fills in the pieces of my world.
