A woman who is bold… a woman who is authentic… that is a stylish {and attractive} woman.  If you are being honest with yourself, odds are high that you are not the same woman each and every day {how dull that would be}.  Wake up and figure out who you are… and who you want to be… that day.  And dress the part.  The world is your stage… so throw on a costume that is appropriate for the leading lady that you feel like being {and don’t pay heed to what others may say or think… knock their socks off with your confidence}.

Some days {let’s face it… most days} require me to find a way to fit lots of business and lots of fun into the all-to0-short time span of 24 hours… Likely because I find the business that I am in to be insanely fun {and fabulous}, I tolerate {and even look forward to} my crazy schedule.  I’ve learned that a 3pm meeting can quickly creep into my 8pm dinner-and-drinks-with-the girls time slot… so I need to dress in a way that seamlessly transitions from professional to personal.  Enter: the casual sophisticate.  With a simple color scheme {think neutrals like black, white, tan, cream, and grey} and a few feminine statement accessories {spikes, bows, studs, and there is never anything wrong with a pop of pink here and there}, you can be taken just seriously enough for work and still turn heads at happy hour.

I was heading out to meet some friends and family for a fancy dinner and cocktails {turned out to be a surprise party… for moi… more on that later this week!}… I wanted something with a bit of edge and something unexpected.  Pairing a cropped top with a high waisted skirt turns that little strip of skin circling the ribcage into something pretty saucy.  So, get saucy… and boldly cause a complete black out.
