July. One of my favorite words. One of my favorite seasons. July represents summer… Full of adventure, salt water, and welcome recklessness… fireworks and bikinis and delicious laziness. Bring on the summer nights in Santa Barbara… I’m more than ready to temporarily abandon the illusion of maturity and the constraints of responsibility… it is July, after all.
I was meeting one of my favorite people {a friend of mine from my days in law school} for brunch and I needed to pull together an outfit that said, “Yeah, I went to law school…” but also said, “And… I decided not to practice law.” Enter the leopard print blazer and shorts instead of slacks.
