I had yet another day in which I was a child again. This time, my childhood prerogative was avoidance… Avoiding responsibility, reality, and all things that may require heavy thought. I threw on my modern day coat of armor (a quilted leather jacket with chain detailing) and covered myself in silver and rose gold accents (I’m all for mixed metals). I met my best friend in the world (my sister) for a long chat and a bottle of wine and I bought some fresh flowers for my place. At the end of the night, I tucked myself into bed and drifted off to sleep. It’s good to be little again.
